Pampurred Passengers Treated To 1st Class Airline Style!

Five new 49 seat luxury coaches have been delivered to Totton based Marchwood Coaches following a £1 million investment by the parent company - the Go-Ahead Group. The Scania Irizar coaches are fully equipped for travel in comfort and style.

Pampurred passengers are treated to wide seats with loads of legroom in a cabin more reminiscent of the first class section on an airline – complete with “in-flight” entertainment, air conditioning, hot and cold drinks and a lavatory. Air suspension gives a smooth ride and permits the front to kneel to the ground for easier access.

Ian Harley, Manager of Marchwood says that the vehicles are also the first of the fleet to be seen with their new two tone blue livery.
“We are delighted to announce our new image with our new vehicles. Not only do they offer a pleasant travelling environment for our passengers – they are healthier for people outside as the latest Euro4 engines meet the requirements of the London Low Emission Zone.”

Marchwood was established in 1962 and acquired by the Go-Ahead Group in 2006. The company employs 28 drivers and provides UK and continental coach charter with a fleet of 20 vehicles.
